I Am Dutch

I am Danish and I have noticed that many Americans but also other English speaking people belive that Dutch is the language spoken in Denmark.
This can be a little annoying for a Dane but I wonder how a Dutch person feels about so many people believing that her language is the language of another country than the Netherlands.

I recently learned that part of my ancestry is Dutch. I thought my only connection was that my Dad was engaged to a young lady there when he returned home from WWII. It didn't last, difficult to stay close through the old mail system
