We are home at the farmhouse and happy!

Our room at the top of the house has been left for us to use, but almost all the family is here, including my brother and his family. Chiara has taken on baby duties with her first cousins, and my brother’s wife looks as if she would appreciate her help. We had thought he was on duty since the death of Nonno, flying above Europe ready to intercept Russian drones and flybys.

My uncle who lives here now has finally been able to move his wife, my aunt here as she has retired from her career now (she worked for the Sicilian province). Their children and grandchildren are now here.

My father’s sisters are also here. It is just the brother who lives in Paraguay 🇵🇾 who has not arrived. Indeed why would you leave the sun to come to the Sicilian Winter?
