Top temperature today expected to be only 28 Celsius.
Not very hot compared to last week, and it’s Wednesday and we fly out mid morning on Friday. My grandparents are noticing how many of the individual families have already gone back to their homes spread throughout southern Italy. I’m sure some of us will be back for their birthdays and for Christmas. 🎅
With it being so much milder there aren’t any in the pool yet, instead we have been slow to descend to the grand salon to await the call to breakfast. I know my uncle and my father have joined grandpa out among the livestock to feed and check them. There are thieves around so they can go out armed.
Chiara sleeps still, she stayed up with us last night cuddling me. I’m not sure what we will be doing today, I would hope spending the day with my Nona. There will be a delivery later on to replenish long storage foodstuffs that we have been using. It is awful the wind down to us all returning home to our individual secondary homes.
