@bookerdana Have to practice looking up and down first in a safe position like in a recliner, then gradually make it more elaborate. I figure at least, it's all theoretical for me. Currently listening to Henry Kissinger's Diplomacy, he seems like a pretty sound and level headed guy, mentioned Metternich during Napoleon times and I've seen a Metternich bio in the Plus Catalog!! ... although judging by a review he gives scant time on key cold war events like the Cuban missile crisis and the Suez canal thing. And is warm and cuddly towards Nixon's policies.

@bookerdana Preach it bro!! ... currently watchinga 54m interview with a Edward Snowden, I remember he was a talk of the town a decade or so ago, but I never got through my skull what it was really about, on the journey to KNOWLEDGE, can't do it without YouTube!!

@bookerdana Schools, books, and life experiences!! For me I don't have much life experiences. Learning is the Vice President of Literature, and Literature is letting Learning to sit on the throne and conduct some regal business by zipping through time, to gradually develop a spatial and temporal container for History.

@bookerdana There sure are, i'm drawn to Political History, I stand by the view that that Caro multi-volume on LBJ is worth the time to read, and maybe listening would be easier to digest it at first.
