Genocide = anything Israel does to defend itself, and protect its citizens.

On the other hand, a pogrom committed by Hamas in Israel with 1200 victims raped, tortured and murdered, is an "anti-colonial freedom fight".

@LeopoldBloom words have meanings and I didn't misuse any. You have managed to make apartheid, war and colonialism the norm and acceptable throughout the West by talking like that. But everyone knows. We tried talking sensibly to such people, and you don't change. So it's going to be decided elsewhere, not in logical argument. You got this.

What disgusts me is your applying them to Israel just because you're a tankie and automatically disapprove of Israel's existence. The proof is that you couldn't care less when your favored countries like China and Russia impose actual apartheid, genocide, war, and colonialism onto their own victims.

You're not interested in definitions, just identity markers. If Israel had been communist (and it could have happened, many early Knesset members were honest-to-god communists) and had been supported by the USSR, with the US supporting the Arab dictatorships, you would have been a Zionist.

@LeopoldBloom they apply to Israel. You don't have a legitimate country if it's a religious ethno state. Removing Palestine is an ongoing genocide.
