I just watched an interesting interview

Two men were discussing Israel. The host asked the man a question that the host thought was received wisdom and that his guest would agree with. He was shocked when his guest went against the received wisdom. The question was "Would the world be better off without Israel" The guest said "Yes the world would be better off without Israel and went on to list a number of terrorist attacks, terrorism sponsorship, state to state wars begun, murders, rapes, false imprisonment committed by Israel and Israelis. The guest then went on to say that being anti Israel is not anti Semitic because many Jews agree with him. The host sat with a stunned look on his face.

Interesting. I suppose there would have been a Palestine. If Israel had moved to create an independent Palestine after 1967 I wonder what would have happened.

The host should have been better prepared.

@Fallflower The host was very well prepared and spouted all the Israeli propaganda.

An interviewer thrown by an answer he did not expect...

One might expect an experienced host to expect "non-wisdom" replies.

@hippyjoe1955 or both of them are clueless

@specman The guest seemed much more aware of what is going on in the world than the host. The host could do little more than spout Israeli talking points without any evidence to back them up. The guest had evidence.
