I don't know what it did the HMS Liberty but it bombed the hell out of the USS Liberty. The Liberty was not supposed to have survived but it did and the few survivors are now giving eye witness accounts. It was an Israeli false flag operation that was supposed to bring in the US to fight Egypt.
