I can’t believe they would Nuke Iran. They have air superiority and can hit them at will. Why a nuke? Won’t happen. That being said, something happened that we aren’t privy to yet. Trump’s leaving the G7 days early to deal with it.

Maybe by doing so the Mullahs will crap themselves and agree to immediately talk seriously thinking Trump is about to enter the war. I hope that’s what it is. Could be Iran attacked a US asset. But I think we would have heard something about it if it did. We shall see.

Time for Iranians to rise up and take their country back from the religious zealots.

@carpediem Yeah, you’re probably right. It does seem extreme to use nukes. I was just speculating. But I do believe it’s serious. Even though Trump has a history of making hyperbolic statements... everyone’s on edge because the last time he issued a warning, strikes on Iran followed.

@hippyjoe1955 Yes, you're right, and that's why the United States is now sending fuelers into the middle east. They can't keep their jets in the skies forever. These F-35s require extensive maintenance and can only do so much damage. That’s why many of us have been saying for years that the U.S. bet on F-35s in a war against a formidable adversary will not pay off. They cost $200 million each, with millions more in monthly maintenance. $40,000 for each flight hour. If it's true these things are being shot down, Israel has no hope.

I just saw on the news that Iran is launching its powerful Fattah missile at Israel, and the Supreme Leader has said he is ready for war. This comes after Trump tried to intimidate him, but he clearly wasn’t intimidated.

@hippyjoe1955 I think you’re dramatically ill informed. I wouldn’t be surprised if the “supreme leader” is dead within a week. I also believe the Iranian regime ceases to exist in its current form by the end of the month.

I’m certainly not surprised Israel lost some fighters. It is a war and Iran is no pushover. But I do believe they’re outmatched.

I could be wrong. Iran just issued a scary warning. We’ll just have to wait and see, but I’d rather be in Tel Aviv right now than Tehran!

@Jokersswild We’ll see. Things will get uglier before they get better. My money is on Israel.

@carpediem Be prepared to be broke soon. Israel is in a world of hurt now. It is in such trouble it may never recover. Israel has a population of 8 million. Iran has a population of 90 million. Israel is about the size of New Jersey. Iran is about the size of Europe. Short of nukes Israel can not win this war on its own and even then it would lose because the world would turn it into a pariah state.

@hippyjoe1955 You might be right. But my gut tells me your extreme hatred for Israel is clouding your judgement. But we’ll see soon enough.

@carpediem I don't hate anyone or anything. I am simply looking at reality without try to be suckered into believing what I want to believe one way or the other. I am simply watching various news sources from the other side and witnessing the mass destruction taking place in Tel Aviv and how Israel is completely unable to defend itself. Israel was showing destruction of decoys in Iran claiming great victory. Oh and I hear the Israel has lost 4 F35s now. That is not a good thing for the Israeli side.

@hippyjoe1955 And I've been seeing something quite different. The Iranian missile barrages are less in terms of numbers each day due to launchers being taken out. Top Iranian military have been wiped out. Israel has effective arial dominance. Iranian military installations are being decimated. Although as I've said, losing 4 airplanes doesn't surprise me in the least. It's a war after all. I suppose it comes down to who's propaganda you prefer to listen to.

Oh and by the way, many Israeli shop owners are once again open for business. Are they in Tehran?
