@Ferise1 They had the support of the U.S., U.K., and complete air superiority. Yes the US could help but the price of oil would go $150 as Iran has repeatedly warned it would target oil fields in Qatar and UAE. Trump knows this.

@Ferise1 I do think the U.S. will end up helping Israel but Iran isnt going to fall. Iran may be defeated but they will come back stronger. Short of a land invasion, what can the U.S. or Israel do? If they Nuke Iran, Russia may just decide to Nuke Israel (seriously this has been discussed in Russia).

@Jokersswild Nobody is going to nuke anyone. The Ayatollahs are only interested in hanging onto power. They're already talking about negotiations. Pretty soon we will end up with another agreement similar to the JCPOA that Trump will take credit for.

@LeopoldBloom No doubt that Iranians, particularily the Youth, are calling for reform. Ayatollah Khamenei isn't an idiot. He saw what happened in Syria. The same thing could happen in Iran.

Good news is that the White House announced today that Trump will make a decision within the next two weeks. It’s reassuring to know he hasn’t committed yet and is waiting to see how Iran responds. Iran needs to return to the negotiating table; they played right into Israel’s hands by backing out of Sunday’s nuclear talks.
