Let's not forget who started this war, and who's being forced out of their own country. I feel empathy for all victims. When that's said Israel is the only one that can stop this war, which would save the hostages on both sides. And allow kids to grow up, and people to eat food and drink clean water to mention some of it.
I do. As a person who lost two great-grandparents in the Holocaust, I feel twice as much empathy for Jewish victims as I do for Gaza dwelling victims. But the relative numbers; 10 to 1? 20 to 1?
@ElwoodBlues I am so very sorry for your losses, I had a childhood Friend whose mother lost 25 family members to the ovens.

The 29000 now dead in Gaza are not hostage I guess you could say. Depends on your perspective and like all wars most who are dead (let alone hostage) are relatively innocent.... so if you don't like my perspective, those hostages have a chance of reconnecting with their families, while ..... back in Israel, this is a government on record wanting to eradicate Palestine.
First of all, stop playing the victim and being a Zionist-apologist okay? Jews are NOT Zionists
Second of all, you feel bad for a few people held in captivity but not for 75 years of occupation and oppression by Israel? Almost 30,000 people killed in Gaza of which 10,000+ children!
Not sure if that what "news companies" are doing. Plenty of mentions about hostages. What I think they're doing is reporting on what's taking place. And it's safe to say Israel is making themselves 'look bad." That's what indiscriminate killing will do.
Netanyahu does not want a ceasefire...does not want to get hostages back (ask the family members. who hate Bibi now), but wants to simply bomb Gaza to dust, then take the land.
I despise Hamas. I despise Netanyahu. I support the people of Israel and I support the people of Gaza.
