Israel is the only racist country in the world?

And this isn't anti-Semitism?

It isn’t by any means. But it’s one of the many countries where racism exists. And because of the shadow of the Holocaust, difficult to understand.
@tigard Mate you have all the charisma of a pencil and half the intellect. So in short I have neither the obligation nor the will to tell you anything. So now you can go away and give yourself another clap for being the smartest man on the internet 😂

@bijouxbroussard " I’m not inclined to share anything else."
That's probably because there's nothing else to tell, except what's in your little mind.

I never said they were primitive or ignorant, but thank you for putting words in my mouth. Isn't that what you accused someone upthread of doing?

It's beyond me that someone can't comprehend the idea that some people won't be able to understand concepts which are far removed from their lives, such as birth control.

Be honest for once in this thread: are you being hyper-sensitive because you see this as an issue of skin color?
@tigard Goodbye.

No difference today than twenty years ago when every Muslim nation was being daubed with the blanket ISIS/ISIL/AL QAEDA tag for allowing terrorist camps in their respective countries and wringing their hands as Bin Laden wrecked havoc on the western world.

Two wrongs never made a right

@Picklebobble2 My recollection was the countries were identified as having terrorist camps, but the public narrative was quite strong that those countries, and Arabs in general should not be considered terrorists.

The other issue which is rightfully raised is the disparity in criticism between Israel, and other countries which do far worse. No, I'm not claiming any criticism of Israel is antisemitism, but from where does this tremendous disparity come? What is the cause of the completely unbalanced results of a supposedly unbiased international commission, as noted in the article?

@Picklebobble2 My point was, the distinction between noting that a country harbors terrorist cells, and calling an entire country, and all it's people terrorists.

I read that article awhile back. tbh, I'm quite surprised NYT published it. They're quite anti-Israel in their reporting.

I also read the findings of that conference, and the related one going on at the same time. This is one of the many reasons I trust nothing from the UN regarding Israel. I do realize we all have our own agendas, but people are willingly so blind to this. And of course it's only getting worse.

Yesterday it was reported an Orthodox Jewish man was stabbed multiple times by a Muslim who yelled "death to all Jews" in Zurich, Switzerland. I read 11 articles. ONLY the Israeli and Jewish media reported what he yelled. All the others, while saying it was 'being investigated as possibly antisemitic,' omitted pertinent information about the attack.

Nobody's interested in the disparity.
Thank you for posting this.
@tigard From the year 2016.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has said the organisation has a “disproportionate” volume of resolutions against Israel, which he believes has “foiled the ability of the UN to fulfill its role effectively”.

Addressing the UN Security Council on Friday, Mr Ban said: “Over the last decade I have argued that we cannot have a bias against Israel at the UN.

"Decades of political maneuvering have created a disproportionate number of resolutions, reports and committees against Israel.

“In many cases, instead of helping the Palestinian issue, this reality has foiled the ability of the UN to fulfill its role effectively."

In response, Israel's Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said Mr Ban "had admitted the clear truth", adding that the UN's hypocrisy towards Israel had "broken records over the past decade".

Mr Danon continued: “During this time the UN passed 223 resolutions condemning Israel, while only eight resolutions condemning the Syrian regime as it has massacred its citizens over the past six years. This is absurd.

“With a new Secretary General set to take office next month, we look forward to the possibility of a new era of fairness at the UN.”
@flipper1966 I hadn't seen that one. I have seen some statistics, I don't recall the specifics, but which point out the disparity in number or resolutions passed against Israel vs the entire rest of the world.
Similarly with Human Right Watch.

The more I learn about these so called non-sectarian 'humanitarian' groups skewed reporting of, and actions against Israel, the more I think there is no worthwhile organizations in the world. I was terribly disappointed to hear of Red Cross' inactions on behalf of the Israeli hostages. I'm not sure I want to teach any more classes for them. I certainly won't be donating blood there anymore, although I will donate elsewhere.

While on the subject, and it being the beginning of woman's history month, there is not a single women's or anti-rape organization in the world which is worthy of my support. Not one of them spoke out against the rapes and mutilations of Israeli girls and women by the Hamas terrorists. If they want to take a political stand on issues other than women's rights and rape, fine. But they lose my support.

Racism is everywhere
strait46 · 46-50, M
@SW-User not everywhere. for example u.s. includes minority in congress for example muslim tlaib and omar. u.s. in theory and action is not racist but inclusive.
now show me a muslim state with non muslims in its parliament?
@strait46 Racism is still a fact of life in the U.S. There are states right now that don’t want black history taught about, including the system of legal racial segregation and anti-miscegenation laws that still existed when I was growing up. If children aren’t going to be taught about the mistakes that were made, what’s to stop those mistakes from happening again ?

Every country has its moments but I believe there are more less racists now a days than there used to be I think people are just trying to create hate by posting this kind of nonsense
