@GoToTheCompound not really unique. Happened to me over a similar issue. Not the same one. And it was a block from a recent friend.

All because some troll nuts reported me on two successive accounts as a fake. It's not worth risking your real name, when it's the fake usernamed trolls, that troll around and report everyone else.
That practice is a hell lot more political, than speaking about politics. Smoother site, my you know what! That's an even worse political move.
In politics it's called: "Silencing your opponent"! Often paid through bribery or extortion. Or in this case letting the troll keep their account.
It's not the site that's doing the reporting. It's other fake users reporting! The site simply doesn't have the people power to do that type of user checking. Not successively twice, in a short span of time, when the first account was up for two years.
So they let anyone else report. Fake ones and all! Because most "normal" people don't want to report others. AKA IRL friends!
