Isn't it kind of moot to fear Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon?

They already have something far more powerful than a nuclear weapon, they can shut down energy flows of 10% to 30% of the oil market. That's far more devastating than any nuke could have been

We can all hope and pray no-one ever uses a nuclear weapon anywhere, but while some countries still have them, and others strive to build their own, I wonder if they are already obsolescent by such things as blockades, sabotage, subversion and malevolent use of the Internet
