Was there any actual belief that Kushner would do anything other than guarantee the negotiations failed?
Trump can restrain Israel and win. Or, he can refuse to restrain Israel and watch oil go to $200 a barrel or more.
The big problem, of course, is that his new found Israel firster, American jew base don't want a ceasefire and normalcy with the current regime.
