But nevertheless, the Iranians have said it for decades (at least in Farsi and Arabic), so you needn't be surprised if someone takes them seriously.
And they lie when they translate it into English. Then it's only "Down with Israel" (the little Satan) or "Down with America" (the great Satan) on their printed signs.
@Thinkerbell Maybe if you looked into why Iran has been saying Death to America you would change you mind a bit. The shaw was installed by the US and when the people of Iran said no to the shaw and drove him from power America has been trying to bring down the people's choice ever since. Kind of election interference on steroids. Add to that that Israel who controls the USA wants Iran destroyed as a nation.....
@Thinkerbell It DOESN'T MATTER!!!! The US does not get to determine how other nations govern themselves. Russia does not get to decide who is president of the US. Trump doesn't get to decide who is PM of England. The US is the only nation that has used nuclear arms to kill innocent civilians. The US is supporting Israel as it commits genocide. The US has NO moral authority left.
