Fans are being asked to remove rainbow coloured arm bands while watching the football. Qatar claims that it wants people to respect its culture which is all fine and good but if you want people to respect your culture you need to respect theirs too.

@Fullmetal The crimes that Iran is guilty of in this instance are against a woman. Overall the US has more respect for women than Iran does.

The only ones you “don’t hear about” are the manufactured news blog sites promoted by the far right wing.
