Local government should sue that company for storage on their land without any permission and charge them for occupied space and sue for damages, may be by each day!!!

That company may be breaking international, let alone national, laws and by extension, so is the USA's President as a major shareholder encouraging the project.

Greenland, we learn, had already banned future oil exploration. (I had not known that.) I wonder if there is any there anyway; but that's not the point.

Offering large sums to residents is open bribery.

An "oil colony", as with Venezuela, the presenter suggests, before pointing out no-one knows what happens to the oil revenues in that nation now under Trump's control.


The self-titled "Greenland Energy" needs be given an ultimatum: You shall bring in no more equipment. You shall remove all that already delivered within two weeks or it will be confiscated as scrap metal, and your staff and directors declared persona non grata.

An interesting point there: did the oil company pick a village with a suitable harbour but no passport control? Also, how did it manage to unload all those massive containers in a small fishing-boat harbour - does its barge carry a big crane?


As Rachel Maddow ends by pointing out, these landings and intentions are much as we saw with the various European-nation imperialists in the 18 -19th Centuries; such as by the British East India Company she names.

BTW why are the presenters on videos like this, so bad at their work? She should at the very least had the courtesy to have learnt to pronounce the names, or have them displayed phonetically just off-camera. Not try to joke at being unable to say them.

And all shareholders should sue for misleading them and SEC has a case for false narratives too!!!

There are only two ways we will be drilling for oil in Greenland. With their permission or with military force. I don't think either are very likely. But wth trump insanity is always a possibility.
