Do your hair colors match?

Or did you want to be blonde?

My son wanted his mouse brown hair to be black when he went to Germany as a student. His mom dyed his hair but something went a bit awry and it turned out wood duck iridescent green. "No problem", she said so she bleached it. At that point it was bright gold on the outside and still green on the inside. It was quite interesting. The kids overseas loved it.

My hair’s been white-silver since 2022; I stopped coloring it during the pandemic. Unless I have some kind of really late life crisis, I’ll probably keep it this way.

It’s probably the closest I’ll ever come to being blonde; I let someone give me "sun streaks" once, and though my color as a child was ash brown I never thought being blonde was appropriate for me. One of my sisters dyes her hair honey blonde, but she has lighter skin than I do and green eyes, so on her it looks more natural.
