Limoges Town Hall

Limoges is such a lovely place to live. A beautiful river to walk along. A cathedral and cafes. A wonderful environment. Inspiring enamelware in the Town Hall.

I lament.

I agree, but it has happened before. What will follow is much more important. Parties like La France Insoumise (LFI), led by figures such as Jean-Luc Mélenchon, have shared alignments that inadvertently or practically serve Russian geopolitical interests in Europe. Macron defused the Gilets Jaunes protests through €10 billion in tax cuts and other concessions, but now he has no such luxury since France’s borrowing costs have been rising inexorably.

@val70 But there is no need for the French to destroy their culture.

@peterlee I'm sorry, but I'm much cynical. I thank God of every parking space these days. Trusting more than praying. There's still more to come, I'm afraid. Violent suppression of the radicals dressed in black could be on soon.

Really disgusting, no one has a right to touch history like that
