Tu me manques

I miss France.
I've visited the Côte d'Azur several times when I was a teenager (I was living in Italy back then). People were lovely and some of them even tried to speak Italian with me.
In 2008 I moved to Paris. I stayed one year, then my job contract ended and I moved back to Italy. But I missed France: the language, the people... I missed everything.
I haven't been to France since then.
I've visited other Countries, but not France.
And I miss it. I wanted to move there permanently, and still do...
I can read and understand spoken French, but I lost my communication skills. I need to translate inside my head before saying something. But I'm sure I'd be fluent again if I moved back there.

If you've used the language for a while in the past to earn your living, it will come back quickly enough when you try to use it again! 🇫🇷

France is cooler than Italy?
