France and Canada, according to stereotype, are (or were) two of the most peaceful nations on the planet.

Well right now France is going through Floyd-style riots and Canada is burning from wild fires.

If those two nations are in trouble, what chance does the rest of the world have?

It is just weird to hear about rioting in France. Do they have that many immigrants now from crappy nations?

No more than their share but they do have many citizens descended from 'crappy nations'.

@Punches yep most immigrants from France come from former colonnies and illegal refugees, Lots of those people are very decent and I like them. It is a complex situation. Very tender subjects no one is allowed to talk about.

It is usually that way when the bad guys arrive. Everyone is suppose to be "hush hush" as to not blow that bad guy's cover.
