Apple wanted $300-$500 to repair my MacBook
Amazon wanted $250 for a replacement banged up used top case. China said give me $10, china for the win!! MacBook back to life with like new condition 🙌✨self repair is the shiz niz.

@Monalisasmith86 true but I have the 16 in one with 2tb which merits the repair. N it has my development environment on it so a new laptop mean downtime on re install n migration that I can’t afford.

And you know where Amazon would have got theirs from..If you need a major part or a repacement for a lost remote for anything, just google the spec number for the object and "voile" the original maker in China can usually have it to you in 10 days for peanuts compared to your local quote..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman yup mind blowing but true. I been getting fuel lines n all kinda of stuff dirt cheep there. Amazon sometimes has no stock on my searches it has fallen 😅

I broke the charger port on my tablet a few months ago. They wanted like $80 to fix or spend $100 to a new tablet so I got a new one
@Ilovelily1986 nice I had Apple care on mine for two years n it covered a screen replacement for $99 was great imho but I forgot to renew n lost that since then 😅
