Except there have been no deals. Trump just makes proclamations with nothing to back it up.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow pretty sure the deal was official. It was on Swiss news.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@Ferise1 Are you referring ton something specifically? Just curious because last time all he did was lower his own tariff on China unilaterally and claimed it was a trade deal. 😂

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow it was in the news five hours ago
Trump says US tariffs will be set at 55%, China's at 10%
Lutnick says deal should resolve rare earth minerals, magnet curbs
Deal aims to keep Geneva trade truce on track
WASHINGTON/LONDON, June 10 (Reuters) - A U.S.-China trade deal is "done," U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday, hours after negotiators from Washington and Beijing agreed on a framework to get a fragile trade truce back on track and remove Chinese export restrictions on rare earth minerals and other critical industrial components.
Trump took to his social media platform to offer some of the first details to emerge from two days of marathon talks held in London that had, in the words of U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, put "meat on the bones" of an agreement reached last month in Geneva to ease bilateral retaliatory tariffs that had reached crushing triple-digit levels.

@Ferise1 The devil is in the details. He lowered his own tariff again and it says they agreed to a framework towards making a deal that might result in rare earth restrictions.
So basically the agreed to the perimeters for setting out a hypothetical future deal.
Sounds like as usual Trump is desperately trying to portray this as a bigger victory than it is.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow yeah but Trump says US tariffs will be set at 55%, China's at 10%
That’s a really good deal

@Ferise1 Except Trump says all kinds of random things. And what the Chinese have said is they agreed to a framework for a future agreement.
Chinese diplomats actually know how to do their jobs and there is way more nuance involved.
What he thinks he got and what they actually agreed to are likely not the same.
And his base will not care about the facts anyway.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow well you don’t have the facts either. So I guess we’ll have to just leave this to future knowledge.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@Ferise1 Except I do. Your own post clearly states all that was agreed to was a framework.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow okay then what are the numbers?
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@Ferise1 There are no numbers. Your own source you posted said all that was agreed to is a framework. Trump can move tariffs up or down all he wants with no input required from any other nation.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow my comment wasn’t the whole article
