I Am Chinese

I hate the Chinese New Year.
Basically I hate all the times of the year that make it an obligation for us to be with family. It is a burden to be merry when one doesn't feel merry.
I miss the church on the hill, the quiet river and the trees. I know they are all waiting for me.

We don't have any duty to look merry to others, or to fake it.

The picture is cute though. I like the chair the dog (or is it a cat?) is sitting on.
