Is crazy 🤣 They truly think they did me a favor or that it truly supported my life.
I pay taxes in TWO countries for things I own outside of them. I probably pay more taxes than the average person, in Algeria by choice. Because I am a native I can use my exemption rights.
You pay them because you have to.
I pay my Canadian taxes. And yes, I am grateful to Canada for scholarships and early help in life as refugee but I have done my part towards Canada and made sacrifices for it. I paid those debts already.
And you, individually, had no say or contribution in that dynamic..your money for all you know has been used to unclog the sewage system.
I don't feel gratitude towards ya because of your nationality. I don't give flying duck what you are.
