The Civil war in Canada will begin soon

Alberta and the Federal Government are trying to push through an oil pipeline through British Columbia, without consulting the leaders of BC or the natives that own the land up North.
This is going to turn into a war quickly I think. Justified as well.
We have a lot of things to protect in our province including countless species of mammals and fish that live in the ocean, our trees, lakes, rivers. All would be devastated by an oil incident. This cannot be allowed to happen. There are only 70 or 80 killer whales left in those waters and they would go extinct if an oil tanker dumped its load. How many fishing businesses are there in BC? Thousands I imagine.
There is no benefit for BC at all here, none, only destruction.

Pretty sure First Nations have to be consulted otherwise it'll end up in the courts
@Lilymoon That's the thing, they weren't. Alberta and Saskatchewan went to the Feds and the Feds made an agreement without anything from any party in BC. You simply cannot do what they are saying they will without a fight happening. They are deciding on potentially destroying a delicate ocean system, pristine wilderness, rivers that are full of fish and native settlements that rely on all of those things for survival. To say nothing of the killer whales that swim through there and there are only 80 of them left alive. All of this so the Alberta oil industry, which is mostly owned by American companies, can make more money.
