was buried after his death to erase his legacy. His successors stripped the palace of valuables and filled it with earth to build over it with new structures, such as the Baths of Titus and the Baths of Trajan.

@ElwoodBlues Maybe..However, this is a little different. Trump is certainly the Nero of the piece. However, we have to take a careful look at what it due to come after. Trump may want to be a king. But the crown is hollow. The hard right oligarchy that is watching him trash America is ready to take over, with extreme measures to "Put things right." And I have to tell you. If I was going to take over America, this is pretty much how i would go about it..😷

@tenente In my view, Trumps unannounced (and denied) destruction of the East wing was equivalent to ordering his head carved into Mt Rushmore and dynamiting Washingtons to make room. This is what Trump and his people think or the Rules and due process. So dont be surprised when he trashes the rights of the people when they get in his way..😷

Trump announced the cancellation because the Canadians were not going to budge. He's just trying to save face.
The ballroom looks more like something Saddam Hussein, Maummar Gaddafi or a New York pimp would build for themselves instead of something elegant and tasteful for the American people to be proud of.

1) President Trump manipulating the markets for personal gain (again)
2) Failed attempt to force PM Carney and Canada to relent on aluminum and steel tariffs
President Trump is an unserious conman who needs to be taken seriously by Canada
Gov Ford and PM Carney need to get on the same page
