Oh Canada! For the Canadians on SW

Poll - Total Votes: 11
I'm voting liberal again
We need a serious change, time for the conservatives to take a stab at it. Can't be any worse!

What are your thoughts on the current leadership and how it's going with Mark Carney?

Do you agree with the digital ID the liberals will impose on Canadians in the years to come?

Actually hold, will you be voting for Carney again this November?

What are your thoughts and feeling on the direction Canada is being pushed?

I'm statisfied with Carney's performance. He really set the expectations to high and optimistic for himself though, I think that could be his downfall.

It the budget does not pass, and liberal party is in non-confidence and another election is triggered, I will vote Liberal. Not that I dislike the Conservative party so much , but I dislike Pollieve. I think he is and will go complete MAGA. I seem him a a populist and after what's going on in the US, I'm very turned off that brand of politics.
@JimboSaturn Not the first to say something very similar.

Do you not thing that a major change in party is needed though?

I feel Mark is a smart fellow but he's too invested in the states. I'm sure you know about his involvements there

@Teggy I'm not worried about Carney's conflicts of interest. I get your point about a major party change though. I agree we did need a change after the Trudeau leadership in my opinion. For now, I feel that Carney's leadership is sufficiently different than Trudeau's to call it a change, but it's close lol. I guess I just dislike Pollieve that much.
@JimboSaturn I gotta admit I do strongly agree with his opening up to trading with the rest of the world and essentially ditching the US. I'm not a fan of how things are going there either.

He really could ditch that empty idea of Net Zero though. It's currently really choking out a lot of Canadians.

@Teggy Net zero, you mean environmental laws? If so, yes that a tough subject. I do believe we should be commited to reducing CO2 but how to balance that with the economy is problematic.

I think he is kinda fucked either way. Now with all the projects he wants to do, trying to get them going while handling the squabbles between provinces and indigenous people's claims. He is really on a tough road.

He is a bit more of a conservative Liberal which I like.
Some of my problems with him are his communication. I don't know what is going on with trade talks. Apparently Trump reacts negatively to politicians talking to the press about details before the deal but I don't know.
