First off, where is the U.S. going to get the trillions of dollars to buy Canada? We are going to print trillions of dollars? Or borrow Trillions?

And why would Canada want to become apart of a country that has so much debt and is on the verge of bankruptcy?

Who's talking about trillions? Canada already made it very clear it's not for sale.
He likes making up big numbers to make himself look tough ...

@catastrophecarnival I had an uncle like that. Do you know what you do to people like that? Jack the price up... "okay, you want to buy Canada? That'll be $5 million for each citizen. Total $200 trillion. "
@Jokersswild the money will go right back to the U.S treasury ,break even
First off, are you American?

Second, it was a joke or an insult... not realistic

@BritishFailedAesthetic It is deeply revealing when a nation such as the United States believes that its continued survival depends on expansionism. I also hope that people in the United Kingdom are finally beginning to take notice of what many of us have been warning about for some time.

The UK largely relinquished its imperial ambitions in the aftermath of the Second World War, most definitively around 30 years ago with the handover of Hong Kong. The United States has now assumed the mantle of imperial power. I believe that, eventually, it will fall upon the British public to stand up and declare: “Enough is enough. We abandoned imperialism because we envisioned a world free from war and committed to the principles of democracy. Yet here you are, in the United States, attempting to revive a model of dominance that has consistently failed every empire before you.”
@Jokersswild What's more this bunch were supposed to be anti war and all for peace.... well....

The USA is going to borrow trillions of dollars from Canada to make the transition happen.

The difference between Canada and the USA is that Canada is $36Trillion richer than the USA because Canada is not $36Trillion in debt.
