Political optimism around here!

With all the news of death, destruction, and dictatorship in the world I am grateful to live in a province where there is a spirit of new beginnings. Our recently elected provincial government brings a diversity of representation to the legislature that we have not seen before. They really seem to care about health care and public health and doing something real about our poverty and addictions crisis. There is hope among Indigenous People, long disempowered and oppressed across Canada, for real inclusion and change. It's a time of hope and I am happy to be in it.
