Canada does not teach history.

If any proof is required look at the Members of Parliament giving a standing ovation to an elderly Ukrainian man who fought Russia in WWII. So if he fought Russia he also fought Britain and the US and CANADA since Russia was on the side of Britain and the US and CANADA! I know that Castreau had to repeat grade school so he isn't very bright but what the H E double hockey sticks was the very smart leader of the opposition doing applauding?

@Synyster While I doubt very much tha the Prime Minister's Office and the Speaker told anyone about the man's history it should have taken about 1.5 nanoseconds to realize that if the man fought Russia he was on the side of the Nazis.
