Interesting chat with my cousin

He and his wife were very interested in the Canadian lockdown protests that took place in Ottawa and southern Alberta. One of their sons was seen trying to protect the woman with a walker being trampled by the police horse in Ottawa. They also had friends at the Coutts border crossing in southern Alberta. They would get a message from one of their friends at the protest and then they would forward the message on to those who were interested. They never left their home and they live about 500 miles north of the border but when the police decided to dismantle the protest my cousin's phones began to glitch. The phones got very hot and could not be used. Eventually one of the phones became so hot it shut down entirely. My cousin was a bit shaken. He had never had a phone do that before or since but suddenly 2 phones at the same time which coincided with the police action at Coutts?. Hmmmmm

Not surprised they have something in their bag of tricks to do this!

@Quimliqer Doesn't surprise me at all but I do wonder why they would go after a couple of senior citizens living on a farm north of Peace River.

@hippyjoe1955 Possibly because their IP address showed up and no one paid attention to the location?

@Quimliqer That is possible. Still frightened them.

@hippyjoe1955 one can imagine!!

@Quimliqer It hasn't deterred them though. I gotta hand it to them. They were smart enough to support the convoy with cash and not electronic traceable money.
