Maybe a bygone time....

I don't know why, maybe it's young sentimentalism, maybe it wasn't being able to reach people you can never without the possibility of knowing if it means anything (modern world), maybe it's questioning how companies use excuse of inflation to profit, especially grocery stores which can be tracked in Canada.... and some of this did happen in the 80s, and maybe why children of that time had the adult sense, and brevity to sing about it..
