@Monalisasmith86 Linux is much better than Windows. Windows is great when your computer is brand new. But after a few years it bogs down your system so you have to get a new PC. My laptop is brand new and runs windows 11 just fine. My two other PCs run Windows 10 and Fedora 42. The only issue with those PCs is that I can't upgrade them to Windows 11 since their CPUs cant handle Windows 11. Fedora works just fine on them though, and since I'm just using them for controlling HAM radio equipment, I dont need to upgrade those PCs
I used to use Ubuntu back in college on an old laptop, but i mainly just surfed them web with it. I was going to use Ubuntu again. However, my uncle introduced me to Fedora abd i like it more. Software capability is a little harder with Redhat Linux, but the fact that its less intense on my computer's resources is great.

@LinuxBreaksWindows the thing is with windows you can upgrade for 5 or ten years on one computer without upgrade especially if you upgrade online , if you’re using a cd rom you can’t upgrade
