In either the Victorian state election that's coming up soon, or (if you're lucky enough to not live in this disaster-zone of a state) the federal election. Do you think One Orange Nation has a chance, or are they just a temporary blip in the system, as Clive Palmer seems to believe (as do I).
I'll be voting for Jess' party, the Liberals, which is something I've never done before, but it's better to be blue (conservative) than orange (a Trumpster), and I cannot stand Labour (correct, English spelling) and the Greens.

Laboradopted that spelling in 1912 to distinguish the party from the general labour movement and to appear more modern ( ie American!)
I think One Nation is doing some clever publicity but do they really have well thought through policies? I dont think Pauline has the makings of a PM . Barnaby is a snake who will likely try and take over and I don't like him much either.

@Maturebate Yes, all of this is true, and now in spite of all that's going on because of lunatics like Trump, there are STILL many Australians who desire to emulate "Americans". It's cultural cringe taken to an insane degree.
If something becomes popular or trends over in the United States, we should consciously do the exact opposite, because if they're doing it it must be wrong (like their sadistic health system).

Having looked closely at the economics of each platform, the only one with any sense for the majority of the popluation is Labor. Thats not to say they are great, or even good. But they are the least worst. And voting is compulsory here, so thet is a valid perspective. One nation is simply MAGA Lite, with no real idea of how to pay for anything they wish to do, and no idea of the practical consequences of their actions..And the Liberals just want to take the Economy back to the feudal system.. We really need better quality politicians. Maybe Canada or New Zealand can lend us some..😷
