Expensive Passport in the world

@Manofoz I didnt mention housing because you didnt mention housing. Or do you want me to solve all your problems? The housing issue here is complex, but lets do it. Australias population unlike many other countries that also have a housing cost crisis, is based mostly around less than a dozen Urban sites in a continent the size of Continental America. This means urban sprawl is a particular problem, when it comes to a population of 26 million providing a tax base for infrastructure, roads, mains water and sewers and electricity, Plus schools and hospitals.The states havent helped by limiting land development. Or until recently by stalling medium density developments. From there the laws of supply and demand kicked in and prices rose.. Then along comes Covid and forces some smaller builders to bankruptcy as costs blow out and supply chains are stalled, cutting the fat in the marketplace to zero.. And finally, the coming financial road bump we are about to hiit has some companies buying up and parking houses as a safe haven. Personally I dont think thats smart here. But they see it happening in the US and are copying. So just like the price of gold, the price of houses is rising.. Personally, that doesnt worry me. I own my house and am now a Millionaire on paper. My son and his wife own 8 properties and have seen their equity grow by close to two million dollars this year..All tenanted long term. 😷
