Another Trump trade winner..

Trumps deal with Australia has allowed access for American beef to the Australian market for the first time. I wont go into the details. But US "Standards" have more holes than my underwear, including shipping cattle untested from Mexico and blending them into US herds.. But a deals a deal, although personally I wouldnt feed American beef to my tamed magpies.. But that was last weeks news..
Today, all major Australian supermarket chains made a joint announcement that they will NOT stock any US beef.. Sometimes the market gets it right..😷

I am guessing it will be all hamburger product aka ground beef so just give Maccas and Hungry Jacks (B King) a miss.

@KiwiBird McD and Hungry Jacks both advertise 100% Australian beef.. Have you tasted an American franchise burger. The meat tastes like an aging bulldog has been sitting on it for a week..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I haven't eaten a burger at either of those places in Australia. Hopefully they both continue to support Australian Beef.

@KiwiBird Australian content is a selling point for these US franchises. One I suspect they will push more and more, given the current situation..😷
