Penguins and Seals hit with Tariffs

Trump did not even spare two uninhabited islands off the coast of Antarctica. A ten per cent tariff was placed on Heard and McDonald Islands, an Australian external territory. But the two islands are uninhabited and nothing is exported from them.

No people live on Heard Island, but it is home to penguins and seals. Heard and McDonald Islands are considered among the most remote places on Earth, and can only be reached by a two-week ship voyage from Australia.

The White House did not give any explanation as to why it had placed tariffs on exports from the islands.

Basically, it is a very good piece of news for those islands. That means that this guy Trump has no intention to invade them and make them part of the US territory. He would cut in his own flesh, although a little cut here and there would not be so detrimental. He desperately needs to lose a few pounds.

Australia can rest and so can the seals and penguins.

@Stephie If you are smuggling in Norfolk Island Pines then yes you are correct.

Australia got slugged 10%
So did the UK, and yet the US has a trade surplus with both of these countries!!

There are, however, two countries that Tяump exempted from the new round of tariffs. They are Russia and Belarus!!!

Careful don't give him any ideas for invasion. The Penguins maybe next after Greenland
