Any Australians here ever been attacked by a kangaroo?

Ive seen sone videos online those kangaroos can be crazy and aggressive.

Dumb American question 😄
I was once chased by a Koala bear. It was a pretty slow, laborious process, with lots of stops for food and window shopping. It eventually caught me while I was sleeping under a tree. I will forever remember its minty eucalyptus stolen kiss.it made my eyes water..

@Thinkerbell Why don't Kiwi guys take their dates to rugby and football matches?

They keep eating the field

Not a dumb question.
I saw it happen in front of me. We had just been out feeding wild grey kangaroos in the Grampians. We finished, sat in the car and a group of uni students were feeding. As they moved off one girl was trying to feed a small one and the big buck kicked her in the stomach. They can rip your guts open like that, but he didn't do it that hard. She turned to her boyfriend and told him she just got kicked and he just went, 'Mm..' without even looking up. We were shocked because it would have hurt and our kids were very little at the time.
I remember in 1970s when two railway guys working on tracks and a grey just came out of the bush and killed one of them - kick to the stomach with the claw. Pretty rare though. They mostly just take off.

Not I. It is rare, but does occasionally happen.
Getting attacked by a kangaroo is extremely rare.
Like most social herbivores, the males fight with each other to gain the right to mate with a mon of females, but other than that they are not normally aggressive.
Young male joeys love to play box each other and make constant juvenile attempts to box other members of the mob. When they're old enough to become pests they get expelled; they then join a mob of bachelors.

There are some rare situations where a male roo might attack a man. "Chris 'Brolga' Barns is the founder of the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs. He was featured in the 2013 BBC documentary series Kangaroo Dundee. Barns and the Kangaroo Sanctuary came to international attention when Roger, one of the earlier kangaroos that he adopted, went viral for his muscular physique."

Some have, yes. But they were probably antagonizing the Roos when they were attacked. Roos most commonly damage cars and utes when they jump out in front of them. They cause lots of damage to bonnets and wind screens. Roos can travel at 25-30 kmph along side a road.
