Melbourne Covid Protests. The other side:

A certain Awakened individual has been putting out a story about police violence over the past few days regarding anti Vaccine protests.
There is enough fairly reported material out there on news.com.au... or abc.com.au that I wont bore you with it.
Its safe to say that while several police were hospitalised, some with broken bones, and a few protesters also received medical treatment, no one on either side was killed or had life threatening injuries.. One arrested protestor has been found to be Covid positive and is in hospital related to that, causing several police officers involved in his arrest to be quarantined.
As a side note, the condemnation of these protestors is universal in the public. With the police being called out for dealing with them too lightly.
Everyone arrested copped a fine over $5000. Just for being there. Those who attacked police or caused Damage to vehicles or our Shrine of Remeberance will face charges. Dont believe what you read here without checking reliable outside sources.😷

Ive been avoiding the coverage as as Mwlbournian it's embarrassing.
Like I fucking hate the lockdown, have a panic attack at the thought of needles, doctors or anything. But I'm not being a dick

@Alison I'm in it as well. And right now we hold the record for the longest time in Covid lockdown. I get the frustration. Even that of these people. But I assume that even if you dont want the vaccine, you have the sense to follow the rules to keep yourseld and everyone else safe until the vaccines can beat the virus down.😷

@Alison I totally do.. And I am fortunate in my situation and location, so as things go I have it easy. Just keep your head down and stay safe and hopefully he new year will be better. Unless the post covid economic hangover gets us..😷
