Condolences to the families of the three US air crew killed when a Coulson Aviation C-130 contracted to the NSW Rural Fire Service crashed in the last day or two while participating in aerial firefighting operations during a day of extreme emergency conditions. Shows the ultra-high level of risk and commitment that all levels of response to the 2019/2020 hydro-pyro crisis in Australia are facing up to from the mostly volunteer RFS brigade and fire tanker crews right through to the mostly contracted aerial offensive trying to provide support for firefighting people on the ground and communities impacted by the bushfires plus the very bad southern hemisphere drought.
