I Love Australian Accents

I have an Australian accent but I don't notice. It's just normal to me.🇦🇺

Good on ya. I lived in Australia for 45 years, but never managed to capture the accent, despite trying. When I did, I sounded like I came from Birmingham. So I gave up, and after 40 years, still sounded like I had walked out of an Oxford college!

My daughters have clear Australian accents, even though they have lived and worked in Europe for nearly 15 years!

Be very proud of you accent. It's from the best country in the world.

@HowardP Yeah, The Country itself here is good but the Government has become very corrupt lately and it's not a very nice place to live anymore if you're not rich.

I do t notice mine either although sometimes I’m told I sound British.

@Honeylove Yes Americans seem to confuse Australian with British although they're nowhere near alike.
