there used to be an aboriginal elder that hated how used to handouts his people were , he thought it attributed to his people not having a go and expecting a free ride things he found very un aboriginal , not to mention the white man believing that the aborigines need handouts to survive .......he didn't last long as a speaker for them .

Can't blame them, really...(I know white Australians who are prone to the same tendency)... But there are countless communities out there (don't just assume NSW), where entire villages are without water, roads, health care, industry - living in tin shacks. But our government and it's voters can't possibly conceive of lifting a finger for them fellas. But here's a good idea: sell our coal to China for a quick buck, (screw the black fellas), and allocate billions per year to war (screw the black fellas). make expensive deals with the yanks for fighting planes (screw the blackfellas), invest millions on a road for the metro mob (but screw the black fellas). Can't help them. They gotta help themselves. We took their land. Stole their children. Robbed them of their entire way of life, and now we class them as bludgers. (screw the black fellas). It's fucking disgusting.
