I think I want to move to Sweden

I've visited Sweden many times and had a go speaking Swedish. However, when I have apologised for not speaking more than odd words, they have always replied in perfect English along the lines of, 'There are only 8million of us, we want to practise our English with you.'

Scandinavians Languages and to some extent Dutch, do have the advantage of a similar syntax to English. So once the language is learned, speaking it well in terms of "like the English do" is easier for Scandinavians. The whole sentences come out right..😷

Sweden is beautiful. 😍
