Why are Americans applying for refugee status in Canada?

@Pinkstarburst yes it’s a mess 😂 but what grounds would they have for true refugee status?

@Jenny1234 Maybe it’s that someone is sending the military to cities he deems a threat to his agenda and pulling citizens out of their homes and jobs, and even off the streets to ship them to camps in other countries.

It’s a wonky time for the US. I’m just thankful people don’t live forever.

@Jenny1234 If things continue the same way in America, it can get really bad. They might even get conscripted in the future, so they're trying to get out while they can. In my opinion it's understandable.

You might want to rethink that statement. No citizens are being pulled out of their homes. People who are here illegally certainly are, but that is an entirely different situation. That's called enforcing immigration laws.
