@SomeMichGuy sure we’re very similar and we get along but what are their reasons for a valid refugee status?

@Alessa He’s been proposing ways to deport U.S. citizens. We’re just not sure where he will stop or even if he can be stopped, if it comes down to it.

No, it doesn't happen all the time. The Vietnam draft dodgers did not run to Canada seeking refugee status.

The Vietnam draft dodgers jumped over the Canada/US border illegally and ended up in Canada but nobody knew they were there.

Most of them worked on farms as farm labor and got paid cash, no different than illegal immigrants from South American who ICE are now rounding up and deporting back to where they came from.
