Actually, China is NOT the most populous country

I didn’t realize this till checking world population stats right now, I guess I missed the news, but India has surpassed China in population as of April 2023

One child policy has effects. Our next door neighbour said they left China because they wanted more than one child. So far they have two wonderful kids.

@Zeuro Yes they did a few years ago. They now have a huge number of single men because couples wanted their one child to be a son and not a daughter.
