I live in the U.S. and have been to/visited or lived in Mexico, Canada, Japan, Okinawa, S. Korea, Germany, Italy, France, England, Australia, Egypt, Israel, Vietnam, Thailand, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and a few others that don't come to mind at the moment.

@AthrillatheHunt Yep, sure was, and in Switzerland Basel, and of course, Zurich. There are a few other small towns I can't remember the names of.
Not when I was on Okinawa... the U.S. occupied and administered the island from about 1947 until 1972.

@Ontheroad aha! Sounds like a life well lived .i was in canton Vaud (French speaking Switzerland) from 88-92.

@AthrillatheHunt Never got to that part of Switzerland, but I'm sure it was beautiful. My career in the army served me well and the chance to travel, see, and do things while being paid was a huge bonus.
Besides that, since I retired from service at 39, I've had great health insurance, always been able to buy at home with no down payment, and have collected over a million in retirement income.
All in all, those years set me up for a good life.
