Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was the third king to rule over Saudi Arabia πΈπ¦. Since he was a child be was mature , educated and well spoken To the point that his father sent him to the United Kingdom at the age of 13 to represent Saudi Arabia . That was the first ever Saudi Arabian royal visit to England.

his father gave him many military duties to consolidate authority over Arabia. Like the conquest of Hail and Asir in 1922 which he nailed. He also commanded the military during the SaudiβYemeni War in 1934, resulting in a Saudi victory. Etcβ¦
The crown prince became king in November 1964. In an emotional speech shortly after he was appointed he said : βI beg of you, brothers, to look upon me as both brother and servant. βMajestyβ is reserved to God alone and βthe throneβ is the throne of the Heavens and Earth.β
In 1970, he established the Ministry of Justice and inaugurated the countryβs first βfive-year planβ for economic development.. Overall King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is credited with rescuing the country's finances and also implementing a policy of modernization and reform. He successfully stabilized the kingdom's bureaucracy and his reign had popularity amongst Saudis.

King Faisal was a hardcore pro Palestinian and tried diplomatically to turn attention to the suffering of the Palestinians . In his speech on 22 September 1947 to the United Nations, Faisal said: β But today the Arabs wish to repel the aggression of a political minority group, namely, the Zionists. It is a group which does not represent world Jewry. It is a group which is more political than religious, a group whose ways and methods are not different from those of the Nazis.β
During the 1973 Arab-Israeli War King Faisal withdrew Saudi oil from global markets, in protest over Western support for Israel during the conflict. This action exaggerated oil prices and was the primary force behind the 1973 energy crisis:
