How to Make Friends from Other Countries
Hello, I’m a 20-year-old woman living in Japan. I’ve been studying English for a long time since I was in elementary school, but I’ve had almost no opportunities to actually use English in person yet. I like learning foreign languages and I’m now interested in learning Indonesian language since I had lived in Indonesia before.
I really want to improve my English and also to learn Indonesian from native Indonesian people. But the thing is, I’m so unsocial and shy person that I’m afraid of attending meetings or something like that where I can get friends from abroad. I’m curious but are there anything from which I can get an opportunity to make friends from abroad, especially from Indonesia? I don’t want to attend a meeting where a lot of people are coming… but I want to talk someone one-to-one and face-to-face.
